How do I know if I am ALREADY registered?

When and where is packet pickup?
Please refer to our schedule of events HERE for times and places.
Can somebody else pick up my packet?
If you cannot make it to packet pickup please give the person picking up on behalf of you a copy of your ID.
What is the minimum age to participate?
For the 5K Turkey Trot there is no age restriction.
For the Adult Triathlon it's USAT Age 15 and over.
For the Youth Triathlon it's USAT Age 7 to 14.
When does the race start?
There are multiple waves per race. Please refer to the schedule of events for a detailed overview HERE.
Are there any age group awards?
Overall awards are given to the TOP 3 Male & Female finishers in all events. There are NO age group awards for the Turkey Trot. Age group winners for the Triathlons will be announced during the award ceremony.
How are REFUNDS/ ROLLOVERS and CHANGES handled?
REFUNDS: The Kahuku Triathlon at Turtle Bay has a No Refund Policy. The race organization reserves the right, in the event of an emergency or local or national disaster or act of god to cancel the race and change the date/time/location of the event.
ROLLOVERS: Requests for rollovers to the next year must be submitted by OCT. 9th. Any requests received after the deadline cannot be honored. **There is a chance that this race might not happen again.
CHANGES: Changes or Transfers to another person are not permitted.
When and where can I check in my bike on race day?
Pre-race info will be made available to registered athletes as we get closer to race day.
Where can I park on race day?
There are TWO opportunities for parking. Athletes can utilize the free parking at the resort's main lot AND we will have a dedicated grassy area (adjacent to the run course) to park.

What is the USAT insurance fee for?
The Kahuku Triathlon at Turtle Bay is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. Every participant must either have a valid annual USAT membership or purchase a one-day membership for this race. Adults pay $15 and children under 17 pay $10 for the one-day membership. if you are NOT a USAT member then you will need to purchase a one-day insurance during packet pickup.
Can I wear a wetsuit?
If the water temperature is below 78 degrees Fahrenheit on race day then wetsuits are allowed. If the water temperature is 78 degrees Fahrenheit or above then wetsuits are not allowed.
Can I use fins/snorkels for the swim?
Fins or snorkels are not allowed.
Is there a cut-off time?
Adult Triathlon cut-offs times and what do they mean?
Please try to reach the bike turn-around by 8:15 AM
Please try to start the run by 9:45 AM
*If you cannot make these cut-offs you will NOT be disqualified; however, we will start pulling course support, such as volunteers & police officer from the course
